BOOKING REQUEST FORM
By completing the below booking request form or contacting us for a quote you agree to complying with our booking terms and conditions as well as cancellation policies of our organisation and those of our service providers. You do acknowledge before making any bookings with us that we have a variety of accommodation providers which may be refererd to as 'the hotel' in our legal documents, this term may mean an accommodation provider or discount agent or it may also mean the physical hotel itself. These are the service providers that make sure to negotiate on our behalf in getting you the best deals so they work extra hard for our clients to get to keep our prices lower than any other agent. These providers have their own cancellation terms which are communicated to you upon receiving your intention to cancel a standing booking that you have with Travel Affordable. You do acknowledge of our cancellation policy that: 1. Travel Affordable Pty Ltd Has a legal right to amend the cancellation policy and terms in mitigating the effects of any situation that may arise which Travel Affordable has no control over. 2. That the cancellation policy has a refund window in which refunds are paid on the 5th of the month, this means that a cancellation that comes before the 5th will be paid on the 5th of the following month. A cancellation that comes a day after the 5th of the month is paid on the 5th of the consecutive month meaning if the request came on 6th January or later, the refund would be paid on 05 March which will be the refund payment window following the next one which caters for requests that came before the 5th of the month. Cancellation refunds will be paid in 4 instalments starting with the first instalment on the day of the refund payment then from then on will be paid on the 5th of each of the following 4 months until all refund amounts due have been paid.
Cancellation terms
6 or more months before date of travel - Full refund minus the 20% non refundable part of the invoiced amount will be paid with the first instalment paid 120 days after receipt of written cancellation
5-3 Months before before date of travel 50% of the deposit will be paid minus the 20% non-refundable part of the invoiced amount
2-1 month before date of travel, deposit is non-refundable
Postponements
If you choose to postpone your trip to a later date there will be no cancellation or postponement fees applicable.
Postponement trips can be re-booked 90 days before new date of travel, this means that when you reactivate a postponed booking you need to make sure your dates are at least 90 days or more before your new travel date.
If you postpone in a certain travel year and wish to travel the following year or year thereafter, the package price invoiced will not change as we work out with the hotels and other providers to lock the rates to the current year’s rates so that rate changes do not affect your future booking
The postponement trip invoice should be fully paid for the trip to be postponed to a future date. You have up to 24 months from the date we receive your request to move the booking to a future date
In cases where the booking is within the non refundable window, amounts from one booking or from a different invoice for a different booking may not be used to supplement an individual booking or invoice for another booking
You get free postponement of bookings to a later date when the above terms are met.
In the event that you have chosen a postponement date beyond a year, and your travel deposit or budget is held for your travel needs in our fund account with some held at the postponed hotel you have the flexibility to bring your travel dates forward as long as the dates are 6 months from the date we receive your request. You will have the flexibility to use the full amount or you may use part of the funds then use the remaining amount 3 to 6 months later. You will also have the flexibility to choose a different package from the original package or a different destination as well as change the number of travelers to the original group number.
Postponed bookings may not be cancelled under any circumstances, they may however be transfered or sold as gifts provided the above terms are observed.
